Rockstar Games announced a month of Halloween content for GTA Online on the game’s Steam community hub on October 5, 2026, promising ghastly mayhem throughout Los Santos. The event runs through October and pairs vengeful Slashers, the Ghosts Exposed activity, and Halloween Survivals with boosted payouts and a five-week challenge schedule that can pay out a GTA$2,000,000 bonus.
The streets of Los Santos fill with creepy apparitions and paranormal visions, and tides of shambling undead occupy Ludendorff Cemetery. Ghosts Exposed sends players after spooky visions of deceased tech executives, while the Halloween Featured Series adds the kill-or-be-killed Slasher mode, races in the San Andreas Super Sport Series, and Halloween Survivals. Peyote Plants grow across Southern San Andreas for the duration of the month.
Bonuses and payouts
Apprehending Standard and Most Wanted Bail Office Targets, or helping Vincent Effenburger clean up the streets in Dispatch Work, pays 2X GTA$ and RP all October. Random Transform Races and high-speed Hotring races in the San Andreas Super Sport Series pay 3X GTA$ and RP. Every Halloween Survival pays 3X GTA$ and RP, including the ghastly Ludendorff Cemetery Survival, which returns this October with waves of fearsome foes and haunted animals in frosty North Yankton, plus Alien Survivals and the Cayo Perico Survival.
Weekly challenges and rewards
