Today it was announced that Halo: The Master Chief Collection would be receiving a UK Exclusive Limited Edition called the “Mjolnir Edition”.
What makes this edition different to any other edition of the Master Chief Collection? We’ll first off, Yes, this is exclusively available to customers that pre-order the game via GAME.CO.UK and is limited to the UK, what it includes however is very very cool indeed and will fit well among game collectors shelves. What you get in the Mjolnir Edition is as follows:
- Collector’s Limited Edition Steel Book Case
- Physical Map Book featuring all the maps available in the game
- DLC Grunt Funeral Digital Skull
- Master Chief 12″ Artfx Statue
The creators even went as far as to provide an in-depth description explaining the reason and origin for the Master Chief 12″ Statue, it says as follows:
“The popular video game character Master Chief wears his iconic MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armour and strides down a high tech ramp in a Forerunner facility. The Chief carries his trusty Battle Rifle, and two sets of interchangeable arms let you pose the soldier with the weapon at the ready or held over his shoulder with a grenade in his other hand! The intricately sculpted heavy duty armour captures every detail you know from the games with screen accurate green and grey colorations along with the bright gold of Master Chief’s face shield. There’s even limited articulation at the neck and waist so you can create your own poses! Sculpted by M.I.C., Master Chief stands nearly 12 inches tall and makes for a perfect centerpiece for your HALO collection.”
Of-course the limited edition will include the Master Chief Collection itself which comes with all the previously released Halo games re-rendered in High Definition with all the original stock and DLC Map packs and bonus game modes and will run at a fluid 60 FPS, it is currently exclusive to the Xbox One however there have been rumors of a PC release in the future.
