Harvest Moon 2 (the Game Boy Color game) will not arrive at the US Nintendo eShop until later date. Although the breaking news is unfortunate for these North American residents, they will eventually see this virtual title very soon. According to a tweeted message from Natsume Inc., the digital copy of this popular farming simulator will arrive in two more weeks.

With a specific date marked, folks can now write or circle October 16 on a nearby calendar. When the day finally arrives, prospective buyers can check the virtual shop to purchase and download the digital copy of this classic video game. After fourteen years, veterans will enjoy the nostalgic feeling of seeing a familiar landscape and town, while newcomers in this generation will explore this content with eyes wide-open for the first time.
To refresh some fond memories, former Game Boy Color players had to successfully run a farm to prevent an amusement park from being built on the land. Unlike the predecessor, this sequel offers an opportunity for players to purchase a sheep, build a greenhouse, and walk around a large town, but it lacked the dating component that most folks enjoyed in the Nintendo 64. Regardless, Harvest Moon 2 and the other titles from this farming series has started a growing fan-base in North America.
