Rejoice, all of you photo and picture browsing lovers! The most popular place to look for pictures and impressive photography is finally arriving on PC.
Instagram is THE place to go if you want to check out your friend’s photos or appreciate some of the finer photos made by professionals. With its massive use base, there are millions of pictures being uploaded every day. The only problem is that it’s a mobile only app. While you can access it using your smartphone or tablet, wouldn’t it be easier to browse such a huge amount of content using your trusty mouse and keyboard? Well, there finally is a way for you to use the PC version of Instagram very easily. One thing to keep in mind: it is not an official program. But it still works just fine and a lot of people have already taken a liking to it.

This a very good piece of software designed specifically for PC and it is the tool that allows you to access Instagram. While using it, you are able to look through the pictures of people that you follow, like, comment and all that jazz. This program was developed by Team Pokki and it serves to simplify that which was a very tedious process of viewing and/or sharing videos and photos from your PC. It is completely free to use and is available on Team Pokki’s official site. The software itself features a very cool looking, yet simple, tile based interface that allows comfortable browsing through a big collection of photos or videos. Some of the additional features include the ability to see a profile view count, feeds, comments and likes/dislikes. You are also able to search, share and download all of the photos directly to your PC.
How to use it?
This software is actually very easy to use (just like Instagram itself). After you have downloaded and installed the program, just log into it using your Instagram user name and password. You can also go in as an observer, without logging in. This is a useful option if you just want to browse the latest photos and you are not interested in leaving comments and/or likes. There is a slight problem, though. If you do not already have an Instagram account, you cannot create it using Pixsta. You will have to use your mobile device for that (Android or iOS based, does not really matter). After you have created an account you are free to use it in order to log in from your PC. Also, you are not allowed to upload your photos with this software, due to the fact that the web site supports only uploads made through Android and iOS devices.
All in all, while this software is not ideal, it is the only way to access Instagram from your PC (for now, at least). You can start using it right away and I’m sure you’ll enjoy the constant availability of your favourite site.
