Thus, in celebration of N7 Day, Mass Effect developer, Bioware, is holding a roundtable discussion with the game franchise’s developers on Twitch.tv (as seen in the tweet below).

Topics of discussion are unknown at this time. However, it has been confirmed by Bioware’s general manager, Aaryn Flynn, that rumors regarding a surprise announcement for a remastered Mass Effect trilogy for current-generation consoles are untrue and unfounded.
Looking forward to #N7Day14! Unfortunately we have no news about the Mass Effect Trilogy coming to new consoles. When we do we'll share ASAP

Gamers tuning in are sure to anticipate the possibility of news or information on a new ME game, yet it may simply be a retrospective on the development of the seminal franchise – on the other hand, something may come up.
In any case, be sure to check Bioware’s Twitch account if your curiousity has been piqued. If you are interested in watching Bioware’s Mass Effect roundtable discussion, you can do so at this link.
Mass Effect Bioware Roundtable Discussion for N7 Day
In related news, the aforementioned Bioware general manager, Aaryn Flynn took to NeoGAF to ask fans what features they would want to see a remastered release of the Mass Effect trilogy.
Some ideas included the standard 1080p/60fps requests, high resolution textures, free DLC, and a “seamless experience” that would allow gamers to go from one game to another without the need to go to a menu and import saves.
In regards to the follow-up to the Mass Effect trilogy, not much information is known about the next ME game. At a Comic Con, earlier this year, Bioware stated that the new protagonist will somehow be connected to N7. Furthermore, there is evidence that it will may place during Commander Shepard’s lifetime, albeit in another galaxy. However, this is all rumor and speculation, so be wary.
Last, but not least: Happy N7 Day!
