Correction, October 29, 2026: An earlier version called this a GamerHeadlines hands-on review and presented an old discount as current. We have not verified an in-house test of the GX1. This page now describes the headset using Epomaker’s product specifications; it is not a tested verdict.
The Epomaker GX1 is an open-back gaming headset with 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth and wired connections, according to its manufacturer. Epomaker lists a weight of approximately 320 grams and 50 mm drivers. We have not independently measured its sound, comfort, battery life or latency.
GX1 specifications at a glance
| Feature | Manufacturer’s listing |
|---|---|
| Ear cup design | Open-back |
| Drivers | 50 mm |
| Connections | 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or wired |
| Microphone | Built-in mic and detachable boom mic |
| Weight | Approximately 320 g |
| Battery life | Up to 30 hours with RGB on or 70 hours with RGB off, as listed by Epomaker |
Connections and compatibility
Epomaker lists a 2.4 GHz USB dongle, Bluetooth and wired options. It says the dongle can be used with PS5, PS4, PC, Mac and Nintendo Switch. Check the manufacturer’s listing and your device’s connection requirements before buying; the listed connections do not establish that every feature works on every platform.
Open-back design and microphone
The GX1 uses open-back ear cups and an adjustable headband. Epomaker also lists a detachable microphone with environmental noise cancellation. These are product specifications, not a measurement of how much sound escapes or how well the microphone performs in a particular room.
Price and availability
The earlier article included a limited-time Amazon price and incorrectly described the discount. We removed the expired offer rather than treating it as available today. Check the retailer’s current price, region and shipping terms before ordering.
What this page cannot tell you
We cannot recommend the GX1 on the basis of our own listening or gaming tests. If sound quality, microphone clarity or isolation is important to you, look for a review that explains its test conditions and platform. Epomaker’s battery and latency figures are manufacturer claims, not GamerHeadlines measurements.
