Alright now, everyone’s favourite game Minecraft could be enjoyed even better with a few workarounds as mentioned below. Note that we won’t be judging you if you decide to go ahead and use them since being long-time gamers, we do understand to take things lightly at some point of time or the other.
Disclaimer – We are not responsible for any game crashes, bugs, un-playability or any other unforeseen consequences (remember Half-Life, all pun intended!) that you may encounter when you try these. But sure go ahead; don’t let that stop you from trying them out.
Command Codes:
/time set day – When it is night time, you can put in “/time set day”. Now it’s daytime, Enjoy!
/time set night – Works exactly in the opposite way described above.
/find a house – Just find an open place and type “find a house” and the house will appear.
/toggledownfall – When you are completely absorbed in doing some creative thing and it starts raining, then just type the above command to make the rain stop.
Variable game modes –
If you enter /gamemode 0 (name of player) in creative/hard-core mode, then this changes to survival mode.
If you enter /gamemode 1 (name of player) in survival/hard-core mode, then this changes to creative mode.
If you enter /gamemode 2 (name of player) in creative/survival mode, then this changes to hard core mode.
Spawning Items –
In multiplayer mode, press “T” to open the talk/chat function. Then type . To find out the ID number of an object, search for the object on the Minecraft Wiki. Some objects cannot be spawned, such as specific dyes and colored wool. For example, if you want to spawn stone (not cobblestone), use ID number 1. Similiraly the ID number for Torches is 50 and white wool is 35.
FPS Counter and Lag meter – Press and hold down the key F3 to show the current frames per second, and the key F6 to show the current lag.
Get ender dragon egg – Type “T” on the keyboard and then give 122 (although this works only in 1.4.5)
Get full TMT – type in “FUULLMT” or “TNTNT” to receive full load of TMT.
PS : Note that for these cheats to work, you must have enabled cheats in single player mode or are in OP.
