Nintendo Direct to Reveal 50 New Things About Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

Nintendo has announced a new Nintendo Direct for this Thursday that will focus on all things Super Smash Bros. for Wii U related.

The new Nintendo Direct is scheduled for this Thursday, October 23rd at 6:00 PM EST (3:00 PM PST) and is said to reveal “50 new things” about Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The Nintendo Direct stream can be found here when it goes up later this week.

Releasing over a month after it’s 3DS counterpart, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U marks the first console entry to the Super Smash Bros. series since 2008’s Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Wii. The new entry in the series features the same character roster as the 3DS version, but will also contain new stages and gameplay modes exclusive to Wii U.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is available right now on Nintendo 3DS, but for those wanting to experience Super Smash Bros. for Wii U the title will see a release on November 21st in North America and December 5th in Europe.
