If you’re torn between the HTC Desire 816, Moto G and Nexus 5, here is a comparison between the three.

Among these mobile phones, Desire 816 is the biggest with the weight of 165 grams and size of 156.6×78.7×7.9mm, giving it a 5.5-inch display, plus a 267-ppi Super LCD2 screen using a 720 x 1280-pixel resolution.

Nexus 5, however, has the best display using True HD IPS+ technology, measuring 4.95 inches that can support 446-per pixel density and a resolution of up to 1080 x 1920 pixels. It also uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology assuring a scratch-free screen. It weighs 130 grams and its measurements are 137.9×69.2×8.6mm.

Moto G is the smallest among the three, measuring 129.9×65.9×11.6mm and has a weight of 143 grams. It has a 326ppi pixel density and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 display measuring 4.5 inches.

It operates using Android KitKat v4.4.4 and has a 2GB RAM. It is available in 16GB and 32GB unexpandable internal storage capacities.

Desire 816, on the other hand, uses a 1.6GHz Cortex A7 quad-core processor, Adreno 305 GPU and a Qualcomm MSM8928 Snapdragon 400 chipset. It also has a 1.5GB RAM and an 8GB internal storage capacity, expandable to up until 128GB. Its OS is Android KitKat v4.4.3 plus an add-on for HTC Sense UI v6.

Moto G uses a 1.2 GHZ Cortex-A7 quad-core processor and a Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon 400 chipset with its Adreno 305 GPU. It has a 1GB RAM and internal storage capacities available in 8GB and 16GB which are both unexpandable. Its initial version is using Android v4.3 Jelly Bean, upgradable to Android KitKat 4.4.4.

When it comes to the camera features, Desire 816 wins with its 13MP main camera and other awesome features such as geo tagging, simultaneous HD image and video recording and more which are set at 720p@60fps and 1080@30fps. It also has a front camera set at 5MP. Nexus 5, on the other hand, has an 8MP main camera and 1.3MP front camera. It boasts of its dual-recording, image stabilization and photo sphere. Lastly, Moto G uses a 5MP main camera and a 1.3MP front camera with features like touch focus, panorama, HDR, geo tagging and more.

Finally, when it comes to the price, Moto G stands to be the cheapest. It is only $260. Nexus 5 is the most expensive and it is worth $370 dollars, while HTC Desire’s price is $335.
