Original Destiny Loot Cave Gets Easter Egg

Destiny Loot Cave Easter Egg

Bungie is not without a sense of humour when it comes to the Loot Cave. They have commemorated the importance of the original Loot Cave from Destiny with an easter egg, making the cave haunted. This video from IGN shows off this quirky easter egg from the Bungie developers:

Yes, when you disturb the pile of charred corpses a creepy voice emanates: “A million deaths are not enough for Master Rahool.” In Destiny lore, the Cryptarch Rahool is the source of engram decoding, allowing you to collect that sweet, sweet loot.

The original loot cave was shut down at the end of September as gamers were exploiting the quick enemy respawn to collect waves upon waves of loot. Recently, other farming spots, such as the “Loot Stairs” have been discovered, though it seems likely Bungie will continue to tackle each of these zones as they are discovered to avoid players spamming the loot system.

What do you think of Bungie’s response to the Loot Cave? Let us know in the comments.
