PS Vita Action Mega Pack Detailed

by GH Staff

European product manager of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Mayumi Donovan, has today released details regarding the ‘PS Vita Action Mega Pack’ – a bundle featuring five games with an emphasis on action and fast-paced gameplay. Two different packages will be available, the first will feature no actual PS Vita console but will come with a PlayStation Store voucher which will allow the user to download all the games, and an 8GB memory card. The second package is essentially the same but will come with the PS Vita as well. Each will cost €199.99.

The Action Mega Pack with no PS Vita will be available in Australia, New Zeland, South Africa, Germany, United Kingdom, Cyprus, Portugal, Finland, Norway, Spain, and Sweden. The other option will be available in Austria, Hungary, Ireland, Czech Republic, Ireland, United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Croatia, Iceland, France, Greece, Poland, Russia, Germany, Denmark, Portugal, Finland, Norway, Spain, and Sweden. Games included are as follows:

  • Injustice: Gods Among Us – Ultimate Edition, this one-on-one fighter includes a large roster of characters from the DC Comics universe, including fan favorites such as Batman, Superman, and Doomsday. Scorpion from the Mortal Kombat series was made available as a downloadable character.
  • Batman: Arkham Origins Blackage, the latest entry in the Arkham series serving as a spin-off. Players once again take control of Batman, who’s mission it is to take down a number of well-known villains such as Joker, Penguin, and Black Mask. The game is set within Blackgate, a high-security prison divided between three different sections, each headed by one of the villains mentioned previously.
  • PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, a free-for-all styled fighter featuring a number of characters based on famous Sony games, including Kratos, PaRappa the Rapper, Dante, Ratchet & Clank, and so forth. It’s obvious the game takes influence from the Super Smash Bros. games, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
  • God of War: Chain of Olympus, featuring everyone’s favorite rage-fueled warrior, Kratos. This time around, the game’s events take place in between the original God of War and God of War: Ascension, in which players will explore a number of locations set within a fictional version of Greece.
  • Killzone: Liberation, taking place after the first Killzone, many of the Helghast are still around and aren’t planning on giving up any time soon. It’s the players mission to once again engage in intense battle with ISA forces. Unlike other Killzone games, the first-person shooter mechanic is replaced with a third-person top-down point of view.
