The PUBG EMEA Championship (PEC) Fall Finals 1 has reached Day 3, and the first of two PEC: Fall Champions will be crowned this weekend. PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, the battle royale shooter, is running the event after last week’s Playoffs 1, and reigning champions Virtus.pro and NAVI, the latter listed in the lobby as VisNatus Vincere, are the teams to beat.
The Finals 1 Lobby and SUPER Format
The lobby includes S8UL, Team Vitality, S2G Esports, ACEND Club, PGG, Joga Bonito, noslack, Virtus.pro, Everlong, Bushido Wildcats, Big John, Twisted Minds, VisNatus Vincere, and Team Kazakhstan. The PEC Finals use the classic SUPER format across three match days, and whoever has the most combined kill points and placement points at the end of 15 matches becomes the first PEC: Fall Champion.
PGC Points and the Host Wildcard
Finals 1 and Finals 2 of PEC: Fall are the final chance for teams to earn PGC Points, which they use to qualify for the PUBG Global Championship (PGC) 2026 in Istanbul, Turkiye. PGC 2026 features 32 teams competing and over $1,500,000 of prize pool on the line. With PGC taking place in Turkiye, one team for the Turkiye region will be selected as the host team, seeded directly into the Grand Finals in Istanbul from December 11 to 13. The team is selected based on performances throughout the year and other criteria. If a Turkish team qualifies for PGC via PGC Points, they automatically receive the wildcard slot, and the PGC Points slot goes to the next best ranked EMEA team. If more than one Turkish team qualifies via PGC Points directly, the top-ranked team receives the Host Team Wildcard.
Drops and G-Coin Giveaways
Viewers can earn Drops by watching the broadcast live on Twitch and Kick, and each day this weekend brings a new Drop unlocked by reaching 120 minutes of cumulative watch time on a PEC (or the PUBG Americas Series 2 Finals, or both) broadcast that day. The Drop schedule is THE ORIGINAL IS BACK T-Shirt, Peculiar Greeting, and the PUBG Varsity Jacket. G-Coin giveaways run throughout the broadcast, with codes revealed through social media hints. Drops originally planned for last weekend’s Playoffs were moved to the second Finals weekend from October 2 to 4 because of technical issues, so that weekend will offer double Drops.
