Reviewing The Gorgeous New Google Nexus 9 Tablet

by GH Staff

For the Google Nexus 9, there are a lot of great new features and specifications that are sure to leave users impressed. From its powerful processor, the new Android 5.0 Lollipop, higher resolution, and front facing speakers. This is a tablet for you.

The good and the bad.

Google’s second major tablet, the Nexus 9 is powered by the new Tegra K1 processor. The predecessor used the Nvidia Shield was released just a little while ago. However, the newer tablet is outfitted with better CPU architecture.

The K1 processor has only been used on the Nexus 9. Which is coupled with a dual core 64-bit CPU. Along with 4+1 32-bit CPU developed by ARM. So Google Nexus 9 runs on both the 64-bit CPU and a 64-bit OS. The tablet also has a RAM capacity of 2GB and uses a Nvidia Kepler GPU.

Camera

YOu are treated to a primary 8MP camera with features such as LED flash and autofocus. With a pretty good secondary camera of 1.2MP. It works well with streaming videos or video chatting, however doesn’t work well in low light.

Battery

A 6700mAh battery is found on the new tablet, which isn’t all that powerful for a 9 inch display that uses a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. Two years ago the Nexus 10 had a 9000mAH battery that was a little better. You can drain the battery fairly quickly, when using in Wi-Fi, even while standby does fair well.

OS

The tablet comes with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop, which is by the far the most professional Android version. It has better animations and interfaces than previous models. Not only are impressed with the better technology, but it proves that Google can form a viable partnership with both Nvidia and HTC for their mobile generation.

Nexus 9 is a tablet for the future, and while it has some bad qualities, it is overall a pretty good tablet that you will be sure to enjoy.
