While many people expected that Samsung will come up with a bigger Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the company didn’t change a bit of its 5.7 inch display. What it did was make enhancements in other areas to make the phablet perform better and offer that premium feel when held by its user.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 was one of the newest releases of the manufacturer it was not the biggest upgrade that a lot of people looked forward to especially in design which led Samsung to put some real thought about its Note 4. Let’s see how this new flagship of the company compares to other phones.
Design and Display
One of the first things that you’ll notice when you look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is the subtle glimmer shining around the phablet’s frame which have been improved as well. It is now made of aluminum to compete well in the market that Apple currently dominates with its devices of premium look and feel. If you turn the Note 4 around, you will find that it has the same textured plastic that the manufacturer used first in 2013.
This phone comes with 5.7 inch display still but this has must better screen resolution than the predecessor. The screen has Quad HD Super AMOLED display with an improved resolution at 2560×1440 and density of more than 500ppi. The dimensions of this phablet are 153x79x8.5 and this weighs 176 grams.
Operating System and Hardware
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 runs on the latest version of Android OS, which is the KitKat 4.4. On the hardware aspect, the Note 4 features extremely powerful quad core processor Snapdragon 805 with a speed of 2.7GHz with back up of 3GB of RAM. With a big screen just like its predecessor, the device offers users with way more special multitasking features. For the built-in memory, this handset has two variants, 32GB and 64GB and an option to expand it to up to 64GB of memory on a Micro SD card.
Camera
As far as the camera is concerned, the Note 4 has 16MP rear shooter now offering optical image stabilization that everyone has been waiting for. A more open aperture promises to allow users that they would be able to take quality snaps even in low light areas which holds true for both the back and front shooters of this handset.
If you would go back to the features of the predecessor of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 as well as the different competitors’ handsets available in the market today, you’ll realize that this upcoming device is something very powerful which should not be taken lightly. The price hasn’t been provided yet but since the Note 3 was sold at $800 when it was launched last year, it’s very likely that this new flagship will come with a higher price tag.
