The second week of the Zelda sale will give discounts to the Oracles games amongst others
The second week of the Zelda sale will kick off this Thursday to celebrate the release of Hyrule Warriors, and today Nintendo has announced that it’s mainly the handheld games that are getting some discounts.
During the second week of the Zelda sale, 3DS gamers will get both Oracle of Seasons and Ages along with Links Awakening DX for the discounted price of £5.39/€5.99.
The Oracle games stand out in the series because they were both developed by Capcom, and just like the Pokemon series both these games have the same plot with slight differences. For example Oracle of Seasons is more action based than Ages, which focuses more on the series puzzles.
The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening DX meanwhile is a coloured remake for Links Awakening on the original Gameboy. Links Awakening is packed with references to the Mario series including a brief period where Link takes care of a Chain Chomp. The main differences between DX and the original though is that DX has the unique
Colour Dungeon which was impossible to access if you were playing the game with a classic Gameboy.
The Wii U will be getting discounts to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and The Minish Cap. A Link to the Past was £5.49/€7.99 but will be sold at the discounted price of £3.43/€4.99. The Minish Cap was £6.29 / €6.99 but will be sold at a discounted price of £4.49 / €4.99.
A Link to the Past is sort of the prequel to 2013’s A Link Between Worlds and is often looked at as the best game in the series. The Minish Cap was originally a Game Boy Advance title and allows players to explore Hyrule both regularly and as a picori, a race of tiny people which gives this game a unique sense of scale.
The second week of the Zelda sale will start this Thursday meaning there is still time for you to take advantage of the previous weeks discounts.
The Zelda sales are taking place to celebrate the upcoming release of Hyrule Warriors, and as such all players who buy a Legend of Zelda game during these sales will be able to download a digital copy of Hyrule Warriors for £35.99/€44.99 instead of the original price of £39.99 / €49.99.
