Retailer GAME and Blizzard Entertainment have announced that Hamilton Chu, developer of the free-to-play title Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, will be present at the GAME Westfield Stratford store in London, England.
From 5pm to 8pm on October 23rd, Chu will be participating in a Q&A session and signing posters for fans of the title. Additionally, the meet-and-greet session taking place at the London store will be the first of many Fireside Gatherings, where fans of the title can meet up and participate in matches and competitions, with more of these events expected to follow in 2015.
Unlike some of their other in-store events (mainly lock-in sessions), GAME has stated that there is no registration needed for this particular event but rather people turn up and partake in this rare opportunity to meet the developer of the highly regarded title.
Originally released earlier this year on PC, iPad, Windows 8 Touch and OS X — with iOS and Android versions expected to launch sometime soon — Blizzard confirmed last month that the free-to-play title had reached 20 million registered users.
