With the release of Square Enix and United Front Games’ Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition next week in North America, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC owners are sure to be curious about what changes have been made to the original Sleeping Dogs in order to make it’s re-release truly “definitive.”
Fortunately, Square Enix has taken note of this, and have released a good number of videos showcasing gameplay from the PlayStation version of the game, alongside an unboxing of the game’s limited edition.

Moving onto the Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition Limited Edition unboxing (which comes with different packaging and an artbook):
For those unfamiliar with the game, Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, is an updated, improved version of the original game, which was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC back in 2012. It will also contain all pieces of downloadable content from the original game, including Nightmare in North Point and Year of the Snake, as well as a variety of weapon and clothing packs (some inspired by other Square Enix games).
Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is essentially a remastering of the original Sleeping Dogs for the current generation of consoles (PlayStation 4, Xbox One) and PC. It is set to release on October 10th in Europe, and October 14th in North America.
