Square Enix has announced that the first sold-out Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival taking place in London, England will be available for people to stream online.

As the name of the event suggests, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, an MMORPG originally launched on PlayStation 3 and PC in 2013, is the focus of the Fan Festival, allowing attendees the opportunity to meet developers of the title, receive exclusive merchandise and participate in competitions during the convention at London’s Tobacco Dock on October 25th, 2014.

Two different livestream options have been confirmed by Square Enix: firstly, the ‘Premium livestream’ offers HD viewing experience, an opening keynote from producer and director Naoki Yoshida, a code for a bonus Moogle item to redeem in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and the closing ceremonies all for a one-time payment package (price is yet to be confirmed). Secondly, the ‘Standard livestream’ does not include any of the features listed in the premium package but it is available for free.

Square Enix is also scheduled to hold similar festivals in Las Vegas, USA (18th to 19th October) and in Tokyo, Japan (22nd December), with livestreams available for both of these events.

Last week, Hajime Tabata, director on Final Fantasy XV, revealed further details on the highly anticipated title during an interview with Gematsu, including new features and gameplay mechanics. The full interview can be found here at Gamer Headlines.

Square Enix has not confirmed an official release date for Final Fantasy XV, but a demo of the title will be included with Final Fantasy Type-0 next year.
