Nintendo are offering players a chance to receive the official Super Smash Bros soundtracks, but only under certain conditions. Those of you who purchase both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game as well as registering both releases on Club Nintendo, will receive two CDs featuring the game’s music. It should be assumed the soundtrack will contain music from both releases as opposed to just the one.

The special soundtrack, named ‘Super Smash Bros.  Premium Sound Selection‘, is part of an offer available in North America, Japan, Europe, Australia, South Africa, and New Zealand. The 3DS release will hit shelves October 3, whilst the Wii U version has been given a winter 2014 release, essentially meaning either late this year or early next year.

Unfortunately, Nintendo haven’t revealed any additional information, but promise to in the near future. It’s still unclear whether the soundtrack is open for purchase separately from this promotion, otherwise we can assume it is a unique item only available through Club Nintendo.

In recent Smash Bros news, the latest character to join the roster is Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles, which is to be his first appearance in the series. Will you be buying both versions? Has this promotion encouraged you to do so? As ever, leave your comments below.
