Design
This metal binding unibody design is constructed fairly tight. However, it is has a shaky home button that can be seen as a weakness. Weighing only 276 grams, it dimensions include 7.36 x 4.25 x .35 inches. Compared to the Kindle Fire HGX 7 it is slightly narrower, and smaller than the Nexus 7. Compared to the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is also smaller. However, they have similar designs with a good grip thanks to the rugged back texture.

Display
On the display, it provides a less than impressive 216 ppi pixel density and a middling 1280 x 800 pixel resolution. You have Asian characters, and small text that can be easily readable, with no pixelation, but you can see a few fuzziness when looking at fine details in images and icons.
There are not really any flaws when looking at color reproduction. Reaching 7055 Kelvins, the temperature is still close to the 6500K standard. The colors are not true; they are particularly red and under-saturated. Unlike most Samsung panel devices, the colors do not pop, and actually are quite subdued. The 7 inch display is nice to look at, except when direct sunlight is involved. The brightness of 374 can’t quite match the overly reflective glass that can be seen as a challenge when looking at the display in the sunlight. The images are consistent and do a good job when viewing angles.
Battery Life
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 when tested latest over 8 hours of continual usage. It additionally had enough juice to power through the entire 8-hour shift.
Other notable features include a price tag of around $400. The option to expand your internal memory up to 6GB. A front 3MP camera and support for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi networks.
