If you’ve been holding out to play Tengami on Wii U, it looks like you’ll be waiting a bit longer. After launching on iPhone and iPad earlier this year and receiving a few delays for the Wii U version, the game is being delayed again and is now aiming for a November release date.

If you’re currently unfamiliar with Tengami, it is a game that has been described as a pop-up book style, point and click adventure. Tengami was created by the small indie development team Nyamyam which is comprised of former Rare staff and nominated for the 2012 IndieCade Awards. The game is set in the ancient fairytales of Japan and sports a beautifully unique art style, and pleasingly tranquil soundtrack by David Wise.

Tengami is a touched based game that tasks you with solving puzzles in order to progress. However it was hinted that the Wii U version may comprise of more than just touched based controls seeing as it offered a wider control scheme.
