Digital Extremes has released Citrine Prime Access for Warframe, the free-to-play action game. Available now, the Prime Access adds Citrine Prime, a Prime version of the Citrine Warframe, alongside two signature Prime weapons and a set of Prime Accessories. The Steam Community announcement, published on September 23, 2026, describes Citrine Prime as gilded in radiant Orokin filigree, a crystalline Warframe whose brilliant gems are set within the finest gold filigree. The announcement’s flavor text describes her as a crystalline citadel ascending, a Warframe who captivates with refined radiance.
Citrine Prime and her two signature weapons
Citrine Prime is the centerpiece of the new Prime Access. Her signature shotgun, Steflos Prime, carries what the announcement calls gilded thorns and lets players deal death from even further afar. Corufell Prime is the other signature weapon in the release, and its golden vines speed up its transformation for even faster Heavy Attacks. The Prime Access also includes exclusive Citrine Prime Glyphs for players who want a matching cosmetic set.
Prime Accessories and 90-day boosters
The Prime Accessories lineup includes the Sphatika Prime Syandana and the Spinele Prime Operator/Drifter Accessories. Digital Extremes has also added the Alumeti Prime Sugatra and a Prismatic Gem Prime Decoration to the Citrine Prime Access. A 90-Day Affinity Booster and a 90-Day Resource Booster are part of the release as well, giving players a long-running boost to Affinity gains and resource collection.
Packs and the Orokin Prime standard
Prime Access content is sold in packs, and the Steam announcement links to a Weapons Pack, an Accessories Pack, a Prime bundle, and a Complete bundle. The Weapons Pack bundles the two signature Prime weapons, while the Accessories Pack covers the Prime Accessories, and the Prime and Complete bundles bring the full lineup together. Warframe players who followed the Iceblade of Narin update or the Jade Shadows update now have a new Prime Access to pursue. The announcement describes every Prime Warframe, weapon, and item as exquisitely gilded and existing in its purest form, as the Orokin intended. It adds that when players require the finest and most powerful armaments, only Primes will do.
