CD Projekt Red, the people behind the Witcher series, and Fuero Games has launched a beta test for its free-to-play multiplayer on-line battle arena title The Witcher Battle Arena. However, the beta test is only available in Canada. It is common for companies to test there products in smaller English speaking countries before going worldwide, which the product will do in the near future.
The Witcher Battle Arena, made for IOS devices, is a MOBA where a player will have a three man team and compete their team against another players team, trying to capture and hold what is called conquest points in short battles. The game is based on the Witcher series and CD Projekt Red has stated that this will be a true free-to-play game and will not be a pay-to-win formula, and that you can unlock everything the game has to offer with just playing the game.
Hopefully this game will scratch the itch that the constant delays of The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt has left fans of the series.
