Eleventh Hour Games shipped the Last Epoch 1.5.1 patch on October 2, one day after Rage of the Frostborn launched on October 1. The update reworks the Circle of Fortune Lens of Tyranny, opens Pinnacle Morditas to Legacy and Offline characters, and fixes a batch of bugs.
Circle of Fortune Lens of Tyranny Rework
The Lens of Tyranny adjustment follows the Season 5 faction rework to Circle of Fortune and Merchant’s Guild. Previously it granted around 1.5x base charge rate with no banked favor, though the exact amount was inconsistent. With favor banked, it consumed favor at 100 percent of the rate of favor gained to result in 2x base charge rate. Now it grants 2x base charge rate with no banked favor. With favor banked, it consumes favor at 10 percent of the rate of favor gained to result in 2.1x base charge rate. The item description was also fixed to accurately reflect its functionality.
Pinnacle Morditas Access Change
Pinnacle Morditas can now be challenged by Legacy and Offline characters. The Monolith change arrived alongside the faction and skill updates in version 1.5.1.
Bug Fixes Across Skills, Factions, UI, and Other Systems
Skills and Passives fixes include a player ending up inside the hitbox of Yrun, Champion of Morditas, using Dreamslash. Cooldown abilities no longer go on cooldown without being cast when cast too close to 0 mana. Campaign fixes cover a time rift scene issue where a player could miss the previous region’s waypoint and need to walk back. Monolith fixes include a flickering light when first entering the Demigod’s Ascendance scene.
Faction fixes address the Circle of Fortune Rank 3 bonus creating regular idols instead of omen idols when it procced on an omen idol drop. Merchant’s Guild fixes cover the price suggestion info button missing an icon and price lowering inputs being difficult to type with a gamepad. UI fixes include the escape key no longer closing all open panels, Bonus Stability appearing wrong after exiting and re-entering an echo, and clicking a quest not changing the map’s focus to the target location.
Other fixes include the Monstrous Rage bloodrage buff where the minion explosion was not always occurring. Rage of Morditas rewards and corrupted items created by the Portents of Blood weaver tree node can no longer appear as already ruined. A new age rating screen was added for the Korean audience. Updated icons cover Moltenplume Veneer and Frostborn Vengeance, and updated preview videos cover Ashheart Summon Sabertooth, Cosmic Ballista, Frostborn Swipe, and Frostborn Vengeance.
