Barry Burton’s back to stop his daughter from becoming a Moire sandwich
Yes you read the title of this article right, the fan favourite character Barry Burton has been confirmed as the second lead character in the upcoming Resident Evil Revelations 2 and he even got his own trailer that was just released today.
The new trailer reveals that Barry has come to the abandoned prison Island in order to find his daughter Moira, who also happens to be with the other lead character Claire Redfield as they are both trying to escape the island themselves. While searching the Island Barry will run into a mysterious little girl called Natalia Korda, who has the power to sense enemies and hidden items.
Your going to need to alternate between the two in order to survive on the Island and the Capcom blog also revealed that Barry and Natalia will have to fight two new enemies called the Rotten and the Revenant. “The Rotten have bones that are visible through their bodies and stop at nothing to hunt down the living, and the horrific Revenant are formed from parts of human beings sewn together“.
The first episode for Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be released on February 11th/12th.
Finally its been revealed that Capcom will be releasing Resident Evil Revelations 2 as 4 digital episodes on a weekly basis from February 17th in America and February 18th everywhere else to March 10th in America and March 11th everywhere else. Each episode costs £4.99/€5.99/$5.99 but you’ll also be able to buy the Season Pass for £19.99/€24.99/$24.99 which will also come with two bonus episodes focusing on Moira and Natalia as well as Hunk as a playable RAID character.
If your willing to wait a bit will be able to buy the full retail version which has only been announced for Europe so far. Along with everything above the retail pack also comes with Albert Wesker as a playable RAID character, a new costumes for each character and 4 new RAID stages based on the most recent Resident Evil titles. Everything mentioned will also be available for download separately.
