The numbers are once again out, and we’re seeing some surprising and some predictable results in terms of what games got picked off the shelves the most in April. It’s no surprise that Mojang’s Minecraft still leads the PS3 sales charts. It has been doing so for quite awhile now, and there are no signs of that changing any time soon. It’s amazing how popular the sandbox building-game actually is. It once again managed to outperform heavy-hitters such as Battlefield 4 or The Wolf Among Us.
Over on the PS4 side of things, Trials Fusion topped first, but was followed by last month’s favorite, inFamous: Second Son. Some surprising numbers came in from Octodad and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, which took 4th and 5th place, respectively. Child of Light took 6th place, and older games such as Battlefield 4, Fifa 14 or Outlast still managed to stay within the Top 10. As for the PS Vita, Telltale’s The Walking Dead (1st Season) took the leading position, with Metal Gear Solid HD closing in on 2nd place. Here are the top 10 selling games of April:
