Far Cry 4 PC review code delayed until Monday before release

Playstation Plus has had a great 2014 and we are expecting an even better 2015 due Sony finally putting triple-A blockbuster titles on the instant games collection. There will be a total of 72 titles (as well as DRIVECLUB PS Plus Edition) coming to the instant games collection in 2015 if the current format of 6 games a month is upheld, here are 10 games which will likely be on Playstation Plus in 2015:

Far Cry 4

Ubisoft’s open-world first-person-shooter would be an excellent coo for Sony. The title is one of those blockbuster names which can shift subscriptions in bulk. Ubisoft has been a supporter of Playstation Plus in the past, allowing titles such as Rayman Origins in addition to Assassin’s Creed 3 to be on the IGC. The previous entry to the franchise, Far Cry 3, came to the IGC a year after it released so you should expect that Far Cry 4 will be free for PS Plus subscribers towards the end of 2015.

LittleBigPlanet 3

Just like Far Cry 4, LittleBigPlanet 3 is a likely addition to the Instant Games Collection towards the end of 2015. The title is owned by Sony and previous entries to the franchise such as LittleBigPlanet Karting in addition to LittleBigPlanet 2 have found their way onto the IGC. In both 2013 and 2014 Sony went all out for the December PS Plus offering bringing titles such as Borderlands 2, DMC Devil May Cry and Injustice: Gods Among Us- Ulimate Edition to the table, expect LittleBigPlanet 3 to lead the charge Christmas time 2015.

EA Need For Speed

Need For Speed: Rivals

It was heavily rumoured that Need For Speed: Rivals would be the first Triple-A PS4 title to appear on the IGC but those rumours turned out to be false. Need For Speed: Rivals was a launch title for the PS4 so sales must have died down for EA’s racer. Since EA has allowed many titles to be on the IGC in the past including the likes of Battlefield 3 and Need For Speed: Most Wanted it is very likely that Need For Speed: Rivals will be on the IGC in the coming months.

Rogue Legacy

Rogue Legacy

Rogue Legacy is an extreme popular indie title available on all three Playstation platforms. If you are a PS Plus subscriber than you will know that Sony loves indie games, just look at the month of November. Rogue Legacy would be a solid choice for the IGC so expect the 2D side-scroller to be available very soon.

Batman: Arkham Origins

One of the most underrated games on the PS3, Batman: Arkham Origins is bound to be on the IGC. Both Batman: Arkham Ayslum and Arkham City have already their way onto the IGC so Origins is almost guaranteed to be coming to be free for PS Plus subscribers sometime in 2015. With the release of the highly anticipated Batman: Arkham Knight on June 2nd worldwide, expect Origins to add to the Batman hype-train by being an addition to the IGC in either May or April.

Killzone: Mercenary

Killzone Mercenary

The Playstation Vita’s best first-person-shooter is another Sony owned title. Killzone Mercenary was well received when it released in September 2013, the beautiful visuals and excellent gameplay impressed just about everyone. Since Killzone’s online community is beginning to dwindle in numbers it would be wise to put the game on PS Plus, the same thing happened for Uncharted 3 and Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale and there numbers skyrocketed.

Killzone: Shadow Fall update gets rid of microtransactions 2

Killzone: Shadow Fall

Playstation Plus subscribers in Japan have already received the PS4’s flagship launch title as a freebie for December. Killzone Shadow Fall is a massive game which would be a major selling point for PS Plus so Sony are bound to put their game onto the service at some point soon. Just like with Killzone Mercenary, ShadowFall’s multiplayer could do with a few more players and PS Plus subscribers are definitely willing to try out any big game. Expect Shadow Fall to be on the service in 2015.

murasakibaby

Murasaki Baby

The Vita exclusive puzzler is another easy choice for the IGC. It is an indie game which would not cost Sony to bring to the IGC. The game was well received by critics so it has the potential to be another hidden gem the service has brought to the attention of gamers. Murasaki Baby definitely will not be a service seller but it will please the people who download it. Expect the quirky platformer to be available very, very shortly.

Shadow-Warrior-PS4

Shadow Warrior

The PS4 port of the hilarious Shadow Warrior is another good contender for the IGC. Shadow Warrior flew under the radar for many gamers this October so it would be another hidden gem to add to the IGC. Publisher Delvover Digital has put titles such as Luftrasers and the brilliant Hotline Miami onto the IGC before so it is likely the budget release of Shadow Warrior will also be on the IGC. Expect Shadow Warrior sometime in the middle of 2015.

Lords of the Fallen

Lords Of The Fallen

The Dark Souls like hack-and-slasher Lords Of The Fallen is another game which would make PS Plus look attractive to buyers. LOTF was well received by critics, but not as well received as Dark Souls or Darksiders, the game does not quite meet the threshold of 70+ on metacritic but Sony likes to break that rule on the regular basis, as seen with Lego Lord Of The Rings (VITA) and the Jax and Daxter HD Collection (VITA). Expect LOTF to be on the IGC sometime in the middle of 2015.
