Rockstar Games has given another update on how long gamers will have to wait until the release of the Heist mode for Grand Theft Auto Online.
Rockstar Games confirmed that the Heist mode will be added to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of Grand Theft Auto Online “in the coming weeks”. Previously, Rockstar Games had promised the mode’s release as early 2015, which has now been shortened with this recent update.
Announced back in 2013, Grand Theft Auto Online’s Heist mode will allow players to team up and perform what Rockstar Games describes as:
“A series of multi-tiered missions featuring diverse prep work, a range of different types of gameplay and a big finale, where team coordination and playing your own distinct role could make the difference between success or failure.”
Recently, the PC version of Grand Theft Auto V, which includes Grand Theft Auto Online, was confirmed to be delayed until March 2015. At the moment, however, the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 versions of GTA V are all currently available for purchase.
