In the third part of our daily GTA 5 Online Tips & Cheats guide, we decided to continue helping those of you, who are just starting out in the online version of Los Santos with a few tips about how to rank up quickly in the game from the very start. As almost any other massively multiplayer online game out there, Grand Theft Auto 5 Online has its own leveling up system. As you will be receiving different rewards and unlocking different items as you go through the levels, knowing just how to rank up quickly from the very start of your online journey through Los Santos can turn out to be quite helpful.
Join a Crew
If you want to be able to rank up more quickly, the first thing you’d have to do when you enter the GTA 5 Online world is join a crew. Except wearing a special emblem and joining in on the persistent rivalry and accomplishments, once you join a crew you will also be receiving additional RP/XP bonuses. As Rockstar has more than tripled the crew member cap yesterday, now would be the perfect time to start pleading your case to the biggest and best crews in GTA Online. You can find leader-boards and crews or even create your own, if you’d like to start your own Mafia family in the official Rockstar Games Social Club Crew page.
The First Ten LevelsĀ
If you are just starting your GTA Online experience we would recommend to connect with someone that is currently at your level and is ranking up as well and try out different missions and do different activities. Even as you are having fun the first fifteen levels can be done pretty quickly. If you’d like to go alone, until you reach the sixth level, you should jack some cars, rob a few stores and familiarize yourself with the online Los Santos. This will not also bring you RP, but quite some cash in your pocket as well. Although this game style may seem as grinding, it is quite joyful as it is GTA 5 after all. Once you reach the sixth level you will be able to access a mission called ‘Death Metal’ from Gerald. It is not as hard and pretty easy to do and gives you about $1,500 and 1,320 RP. When finished, if you’d like to level up fast to level 10, be sure to quit matchmaking and you will be able to call Gerald again and repeat the mission. One way to earn even more RP and rank up faster is to turn up the difficulty level to Hard. This increases the RP you gain by 50 per. Once you reach level 10, make sure to do phone missions, turn in cars to Los Santos Customs, find any cars on Simon’s list and check out whatever activity that brings you RP you find most fun to do.
Participate in Races and Jump from a Helicopter
If you love the throttle, then you’d be happy to know that every single race brings you RP regardless if you win the race or not. Although the first place brings you the largest amount of RP, be sure to participate in races and have fun, while you level up. If you don’t like racing with other people, you are able to host a race, play it alone and after you win in a short timely manner, you will earn a decent amount of RP.
Another fun way of earning a decent amount of RP and ranking up fast is via parachuting events. Jumping from a helicopter and weaving through the markers is a fun way to earn some extra RP points. Moreover, the amount of RP you can earn through parachuting is unlimited, so are able to repeat the activity as much as you like.
Golf, Tennis and Other RP Tips
One of the ways to earn large amount of reputation points is to win in a sport match. Practice your skills and be sure to participate in different sport matches as you will be earning additional amounts of RP. Basically any activity in GTA Online will bring you reputation. If you are wanted and escape the cops or simply go around and kill random people, you will be earning additional reputation points. Make sure, whatever you do, to have fun in the game and the reputation points will quickly and easily pile up.
