Players looking for a more survival based update for GTA Online will be happy to know that their wish has been (sort of) granted with the release of the latest GTA update, The Last Team Standing.
The Last Team Standing update has added 10 new jobs to GTA Online, all of which are Team Deathmatches with the Last Team Standing mode active. Like you’ve probably guessed from the name, you’ll only get one life in this mode so you better make it count. You’ll also be able to make your own Last Man Standing jobs in the Job Creator.
Even without Last Team Standing on, I think we can all agree that snipers and their damn headshots are one of the worst ways to die in a online deathmatch right? Well don’t worry because this update also includes the new bulletproof helmet, which can limit the amount of headshot damage you take, and it also comes in 5 different colours.
Besides the bulletproof helmet, this update also includes multiple new clothes and masks, including the new Please Stop Me Manhunt mask but more on that later.
The Last Team Standing update also introduces two new guns and three new vehicles. The two new guns are the Heavy Shotgun which will deliver “serious damage up close” and a new sniper rifle called the Marksman Rifle. Vehicle wise the update will introduce the new Shitzu Hakuchou sport bike and the LCC Innovation chopper. If however you have a more lets say, refined taste then give the new Lampadati Furore GT a try.

To celebrate the release of The Last Team Standing update GTA Online will be holding a Last Team Standing Event weekend from today till October 5th. If you complete this event you’ll get the Please Stop Me Manhunt mask, as well as a huge ammo cache that will contain 3 sticky bombs, 500 rifle rounds, 200 shotgun shells, 100 sniper bullets, 3 molotovs and a set of body armour.
