A Frozen PS4? Yes, the hit Disney movie about the two ice princesses is going to be getting it’s own skin on top of the PS4. However, the biggest disappointment is that it’s not the white version that we were just introduced to.
As you can see, the top portion of the ps4 is the only part that’s designed. It’s got a cool looking snowflake pattern shot across the top of it with Ilsa and Anna in the left corner. As the fifth highest grossing movie of all time and continuing popularity around the world, it’s no surprise they’re making this bundle to target the younger audience. PS4 sales in Japan have plummeted, placing behind Sony’s Vita and Nintendo’s Wii U. But again, this doesn’t seem like an interesting bundle to me. The fact that they’re going to have a Frozen bundle is a good idea, but releasing a white PS4 and not having a snowy type of theme that way? It seems like that would be the smarter way to go.
Although, It seems they’re trying to get the PS4 up in the market right now. The Frozen Bundle will come out to Japan on July 16th, for 42,980 ¥ (estimated $425 or €310).
