In a tweet earlier today, Playstation Europe teased a collaboration between the Metal Gear Solid and LittleBigPlanet 3 Franchises:
At TGS it was announced that you will be able to exchange Sack Big Boss for Sackboy and a Tank costume for Oddsock, and while little information is available on further content it is assumed you will be able to build levels and scenarios in LittleBigPlanet 3 that make use of Metal Gear Solid 5 assets.
This will not be the first time Metal Gear and LittleBigPlanet have crossed paths. Back in 2008 you were able to gain Metal Gear content in the original LittleBigPlanet via a special paid DLC called the Metal Gear Solid Premium Pack that included five story levels based on Metal Gear Solid missions as well as one challenge level and several building props. Since the Metal Gear series has progressed a lot since then, it will be exciting to see what new characters and scenarios might be available in LittleBigPlanet 3!
LittleBigPlanet 3 will launch on PS3 and PS4 on November 18th, 2014 in North America.
