Ever wondered what a Skyrim-themed Game of Thrones intro would look like? So did this chap, Brady Wold, a Motion Graphics Artist/Animator based in Greater Minneapolis, who spent thousands of hours across two years producing this inspired 3D animation.

“This started off as an exercise to kill time one afternoon about two years ago, never intending it to be a finished product. I continued to work on it here and there throughout various freelance projects, internships, and other personal projects, until it eventually became a burden; my very own ‘white whale’,” creator Wold writes.
White whale or not, this is impressive stuff. Uploaded a few days ago, it caught Bethesda’s attention and they reposted it in their blog with all due praises to its creator: “The parallels between the world of Tamriel and Westeros has not gone unnoticed. Brady Wold’s viral ‘Thrones’ is a perfect combination of the opening theme of “Game of Thrones” with the familiar cities of Skyrim.”
