Unveiled at Games14, the biggest video game convention in the Middle East, renowned Italian jeweler Gatti, has built the worlds first golden gaming consoles. Games14, which was held in Dubai, showcased a host of consoles and products, but the unveiling of the golden systems was the most anticipated. A reported by Emirates 24/7, the Head-Retail at Jumbo Electronics spoke on the anticipation of the unveiling, stating that;
We are particularly excited to be launching the most unique and valuable gaming consoles in the world at Games14, specially created by Gatti. Available to both Xbox and PS4 fans, the high-end materials and exquisite detailing of the gold consoles make it a great collectible item for gamers who love luxury
Retailing at a whopping $13,699, the solid gold (because Gatti doesn’t mess around with gold plating) features 226 grams, or 9 karats of yellow gold.
