To say that remaking four hit games is difficult would be an understatement. Well apparently the guys over at 343 Industries have reached out to to help complete Halo: The Master Chief Collection. 343 will be working in conjunction with Certain Affinity and Saber Interactive.
The Master Chief Collection was announced last week at the annual E3 event. The collection will compile Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 in a tightly knit retail and digital package.
To figure out who these studios were, we had to do a little digging. It appears that both companies have had their fair share of Halo development experience. Saber Interactive helped develop Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition for the Xbox 360 back in 2011. Certain Affinity got their chops in way back in 2007 when they were approached by Microsoft to help create a handful of Halo 2 maps.
Given the pedigree here, we suspect Halo: The Master Chief Collection is well into production and we should fully expect to see that game in glorious 1080p and 60fps come November 11th, chalk full of amazing Halo 2 multiplayer and everything else. I mean come on, that’s really why everyone wants this game, right?
