Digital Extremes published an October roadmap for Warframe on October 5, 2026. The announcement, titled October in Warframe, appeared on the Warframe Steam community page. It covers Epoch Operation: Taubound, The Icebind, Nights of Naberus, and the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Quest. The roadmap details seasonal events, returning activities, and brand new additions for the month as the game moves closer to Warframe: Tau later this year. Epoch Operation: Taubound
Epoch Operation: Taubound runs October 15 through November 17. Digital Extremes describes Epoch Operation: Taubound as a unique event that offers eligible Tenno the chance to become part of Warframe history. Players who want to help open a path to the Tau System need their account ready by completing the Vor’s Prize Quest before October 15.
Players looking to pilot their Vessel for the first time can complete The Hex and The Old Peace. This unlocks a new, permanent Prologue Quest that sets up the Road to Tau. The Road to Tau connects the current Warframe story to Warframe: Tau later this year.
The Icebind and Returning October Events
The Icebind launches October 7. It is a 6-player game mode originally intended to ship alongside Iceblade of Narin as “Glacial Defiance” but was delayed for additional development time and renamed to The Icebind. Accessible in-game starting October 7, these high-level Missions can be played up to three times weekly, letting players test teamwork and Loadouts for valuable Rewards. Players preparing for the new Missions can also check Citrine Prime Access.
Nights of Naberus runs October 1 at 11 a.m. ET through November 2 at 11 a.m. ET. The annual Halloween-inspired event returns with Daughter releasing an inventory of new and returning seasonal Customizations in exchange for Mother Tokens. Baro Ki’Teer marks the occasion in the same fashion as last year. The Hallowed Nightmares Tactical Alert returns so players can face the Jack O’Naut for more Naberus treats.
The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Quest runs October 1 through October 31. PMCF Quest, formerly Quest to Conquer Cancer, returns for another October of special Community streams, donation incentives, and Conquera Customizations. It supports The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. The event runs across the same month as the Halloween-inspired Nights of Naberus.
