Today, 343 talked to Video Gamer in an interview, and they brought forward some very interesting information.
In the interview, 343’s executive producer Dan Ayoub, told Video Gamer that so many people have asked about Halo 3 ODST and Halo Reach on Xbox One, “we are thinking about it.” Ayoub went on to explain to Video Gamer that “With Halo 5 coming out we really wanted to focus on those Master Chief-centric games.” That is why there are currently no plans for Halo 3 ODST and Halo Reach one Xbox One.
We know that 343i currently has no plans for Halo 3 ODST or Halo Reach on Xbox One because Ayoub also told Video Gamer “What I can say is it’s certainly not in our development timeline or planning right now [but] we’ve heard that question so much that it has seeped into our collective subconscious. I think enough people have asked about it that we are thinking about it.”
All of this comes directly from this interview.
As you may already know, Halo: The Master Chief Collection comes out November 11th in the US, November 14th in the UK, exclusively on Xbox One.
