Whilst it’s speculated that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 release date of the creative survival game Minecraft may be revealed at this year’s E3, those who are willing to throw down their money already can now apparently do so via Walmart’s online store.
Though there isn’t really much to go on, the game is selling for a price of $59.96 (or your regional equivalent). Additionally, the product’s description has it labeled for an August 2014 release. Aside from a notice saying that more information of the product is on its way, there isn’t much else to take note of.
It’s been confirmed that the Xbox One version of Minecraft will release before the PlayStation 4 version, and the PlayStation 4 version of the game will release alongside a PlayStation Vita version this Fall. No specific release date has been announced as of yet.
You’ll also be able to transfer your Xbox 360 saves to the Xbox One version of Minecraft, too – something Microsoft’s head of Xbox Phil Spencer revealed back in April.
