ISIS, also known as ISIL (which stands for either The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria or The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, respectively), have apparently released a training and recruitment trailer using GTA Online gameplay.
Presumably, the trailer is for a video game that will be used to recruit and train children to do ISIS’ bidding, however due to the fact that the trailer is comprised of stock Grand Theft Auto Online gameplay, it’s questionable at the least.
The video starts off with a quote that roughly translates to the following:
“Your games which are producing from you, we do the same actions in the battlefields.”
The GTA Online footage shown in ISIS’ trailer shows a variety of standard Grand Theft Auto V gameplay staples, such as carjacking a cop car and killing the officer inside, sniping crowds of people from a distance, and blowing vehicles up with explosives, with the ISIS logo popping up between the clips on occasion.
You can watch the trailer after the break.

Supposedly, ISIS’ game/trailer was created to raise morale, as well as to recruit/train children and teenagers to fight or terrorize those who oppose them.
What are your thoughts on the supposed ISIS training/recruitment trailer? Why do you think they used Grand Theft Auto Online gameplay? Also, what are your thoughts on the notion of using video games to possibly recruit and/or train children or teenagers as part of a terrorist group?
