Bloodborne Alpha testing was postponed after a glitch was discovered that allows players to access the sewers
Over the weekend From Software made the announcement that they will have to delay the next Bloodborne Alpha testing which was due to start on October 5th, after players discovered a glitch that allowed them to access the sewers, which players weren’t supposed to access during the Alpha.

The glitch which involved a certain fence allowed players to discover new weapons, armour as well as an unseen boss fight. The new boss is called the Priest Gascoigne and while he does start the fight using an axe and pistol just like you. When his health is lowered enough he turns into a savage monster almost like Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde style.
Surprisingly enough when he kills you the Priest Gascoigne says “Umbasa”, which players may remember being said by the priests in Demon’s Souls.
Besides him, the sewers are filled with huge rats and undead enemies pretending to be dead. Fighting through the sewers players discovered a complete set of armour called the Hunter of the Blood of Glemia set.
Interestingly enough blood seemed to be a theme of this area because besides this armour, the boss talked about the reek of blood and there’s a wall that players could talk to that mentioned “Sages blood” according to translations.
Could the cure of the contagion that’s causing people to turn into monsters be found in blood or is blood part of the reason that the contagion has infected so many?
In response to this glitch From Software announced on Bloodbornes Twitter page that “Unfortunately we have had to postpone the Bloodborne alpha test on Oct 5th due to some issues. Please wait for further announcements.”
The producer of Bloodborne recently announced that out of all the people who tried the Bloodborne demo, only 0.6% of players at PAX and 3.2% of players at the Tokyo Game Show were able to clear it.
Due to a glitch discovered during the recent Bloodborne Alpha testing players gained access to the sewer section, which was supposed to be restricted for the Alpha.
