The Scope of Authority Premium Warbond launches in Helldivers 2 on October 20, 2026. Arrowhead Game Studios revealed the drop on the PlayStation Blog on October 13. It adds four weapons, the G-11 Caltrops stratagem, two armor sets, the Stationary Shroud passive, an emote, and a title. Everything below comes from Arrowhead’s announcement and the reveal trailer. Nothing in the Warbond is playable until October 20, so exact stats and in-game behavior are not yet confirmed.
Updated: October 13, 2026. Added a confirmed-versus-unverified breakdown and flagged what cannot be assessed until the Warbond goes live.

The weapons and the stratagem
Arrowhead describes the R-40 Sightliner as the loadout’s centerpiece, built to balance stability and power, and says it provides powerful armor-piercing rounds and long-range precision. The P-44 Mist is the close-quarters answer, a one-handed machine pistol for when enemies close the distance. For heavy targets, the AMW-20 Apex is a backpack-fed anti-materiel rifle with assisted reload that Arrowhead calls “colossal” and far from subtle.
The LAS-44 Nova is the new entry in the LAS energy series. It has infinite ammo, fires a high-precision, non-explosive thermal projectile after a short charge cycle, and carries a new optimization routine aimed at better cooldown performance. The G-11 Caltrops stratagem scatters a wide field of proximity-detonated submunitions that slow and stun enemies, setting them up for a long-range shot.
Armor, the Stationary Shroud passive, and cosmetics
The SS-33 Mimetic Marshal light armor borrows from ghillie suits, using light-diffusing netting and adaptive fiber, and pairs with the Mimetic Mesh cape and player card. The SS-15 Focal Point medium armor adds integrated adaptive camouflage and optics behind an asymmetrical visor, and pairs with the Boundary Banner cape and player card. Both carry the Stationary Shroud passive, which reduces weapon sway and detection range by mimicking foliage concealment while crouched or prone. Arrowhead does not state the size of either reduction.
The Warbond also includes the Manual Ballistic Projection emote and the Longshot title.
Price, unlock, and what we cannot assess yet
Scope of Authority is a Premium Warbond, which means it requires the base game, Super Credits, and game progression to unlock; owning the base game alone does not unlock it. Arrowhead has not announced the Super Credit cost, and the contents are earned through the Warbond’s progression track after purchase rather than granted up front.
Until the Warbond is live on October 20, we cannot assess the weapons’ real damage, recoil, or ammo economy, the passive’s actual sway and detection reductions, or where each item sits in the progression track. Treat the roles above as Arrowhead’s marketing descriptions, not tested performance data.
Arrowhead’s announcement is on the PlayStation Blog. Scope of Authority follows the Ironclad Democracy Warbond and the Devoid of Liberty update.
