The Once Human development team's 10th Meta Hotline update introduces a Feedback Hot Charts section and shares decisions on popular requests, including firing while riding and controller vibration.

The Once Human development team has published its 10th Meta Hotline update, introducing a Feedback Hot Charts section on the Once Human Feedback Platform after the v2.3.7 update. The new section lists recent popular community requests and gives the team a real-time view of what players support or disagree with.

Earlier coverage of the recent 3.0.6 bug-fix rollout and its free-to-play console launch framed the game’s update cadence, and this Meta Hotline continues that rhythm with a sharper focus on player feedback triage.

How the New Feedback Hot Charts Work

Players can log in to the Feedback Platform, like the feedback they support, and dislike feedback they disagree with. The Hot Charts display those likes and dislikes in real time. The development team says it references the chart when deciding future development priorities.

The Hot Charts update with each version update. After each refresh, the team announces its optimization plans and progress for issues that charted during the previous cycle.

Accepted and Declined Community Requests

For this cycle, the team accepted “Allow firing while riding a vehicle.” The feature is now in planning and development, and its schedule has been significantly moved up. The team noted that passengers being unable to fire on Two-Wheelers limits combat coordination during team travel.

On breeding cooldown visibility, a related feature is already available in-game: players can check an animal’s Breeding Cooldown in the Detail Panel after summoning it. Showing the cooldown directly from the backpack has been approved and is being significantly advanced.

The team decided not to adopt a Patch-style interface control for a Mod Guarantee lock. It said adding interface controls would increase the game’s complexity, make Mod Guarantee harder to understand, and be prone to misoperation, because forgetting to turn it on or off can both lead to losses. Instead, the team will address the root cause of numerical progression difficulty by reducing ineffective numerical components and Mod types to lower progression difficulty, and by narrowing the numerical gap between players while making the final challenge more challenging. This optimization is carried out together with the numerical progression optimization.

Controller vibration feedback was also accepted. The feature is in the plan and being worked on, and it will gradually cover scenarios such as weapons, melee, and vehicle operations.

The team accepted making the recycling tool usable directly from the backpack, with the feature expected to go live in October. Players will no longer need to switch operations.

An increase to the weekly Starchrom cap remains under evaluation. The current weekly Starchrom cap is set based on the current evolve pacing and game balance, and the team says it will address the topic alongside stat growth optimization.
