Persona 3 Reload asks you 50 questions in class across the school year at Gekkoukan High. Getting each one right earns you Charm points, which unlock Social Links faster and open up relationship routes you would otherwise miss. Exam performance also carries a Charm bonus and unlocks accessory rewards from Mitsuru if your Academics stat is high enough.
This guide has every correct classroom answer in date order, covering April through January plus all four exam periods. The questions in Persona 3 Reload are entirely new and different from the original 2006 game, so if you played the original, this list still applies.
Why Classroom Answers Matter
Every correct answer gives you +1 Charm. Charms is one of the three Social Stats (alongside Academics and Courage) that gates access to various Social Links and story events. Yukari’s Social Link, for instance, only unlocks after August and requires a certain Charm threshold — missing that window locks you out permanently in a single playthrough.
Exams also affect your class rank, and finishing near the top of your class unlocks bonus accessories from Mitsuru:
- May Midterms (top of class): Proto-Choker — boosts Endurance by 5
- July Finals (top of class): Mega Master Band — raises all stats by 3
- October Midterms (top of class): Pendant of Unity — increases attack power of a character shifted to in battle
- December Finals (top of class): Phoenix Charm — revives its holder to full health once per battle
To reach the top of your class in exams you need both correct answers and a high enough Academics stat. The required Academics level for each exam is listed below.

That’s every classroom question in Persona 3 Reload. After January 18 you won’t be called on in class again, so if you’ve been keeping up with this guide, your Charm and Academics will be in excellent shape heading into the endgame.
What Happens If You Sleep in Class?
On days when no question is asked, your teacher will deliver a lecture and give you the option to stay awake or fall asleep. Sleeping costs you the Academics boost from paying attention. Staying awake doesn’t give Charm — that only comes from answering questions correctly — but it does contribute to your Academics stat, which you need for exam performance. The safe play is to always stay awake unless you’ve already maxed Academics.
Academics Stat Requirements for Exams
| Exam | Required Academics Rank | Top Reward from Mitsuru |
|---|---|---|
| May Midterms | Rank 3 — Above Average | Proto-Choker (+5 Endurance) |
| July Finals | Rank 4 — Smart | Mega Master Band (+3 all stats) |
| October Midterms | Rank 5 | Pendant of Unity (attack boost on shift) |
| December Finals | High Academics required | Phoenix Charm (full revive once per battle) |
The Mitsuru rewards are worth the investment. The Phoenix Charm in particular is one of the strongest accessories in the game during the final boss gauntlet, making the grind to high Academics a practical benefit, not just a cosmetic one.
About Persona 3 Reload
Persona 3 Reload is a full remake of the 2006 PlayStation 2 JRPG Persona 3, developed by Atlus and released on February 2, 2024. It is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. The game launched on Xbox Game Pass on day one. It became Atlus’ fastest-selling game ever, reaching one million copies in its first week. The classroom question-and-answer system is one of its defining social simulation mechanics, running in parallel with the dungeon-crawling in Tartarus and the Social Link relationship system. The questions in Persona 3 Reload are entirely new and not shared with the original Persona 3, Persona 3 FES, or Persona 3 Portable — so previous guides for those versions do not apply here.
