The PlayStation 4 version of Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has received a price drop on Amazon.
According to Technocola, Ground Zeroes has been reduced to $9.99 from its initial retail price of $19.99, while the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Xbox One versions of the title have not been discounted.
Earlier this year, in October, publisher Konami had confirmed that Ground Zeroes had been reduced to $19.99 due to the increased “interest” in Kojima’s eagerly awaited follow-up installment, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Amazon UK, however, has not received a price drop for Ground Zeroes on the PS4, meaning that this current discount is only available in the U.S.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is scheduled to launch on December 18th for PC, and Robert Allen Peeler, the online community manager for Kojima Productions’ Los Angeles-based studio, has confirmed the title will be locked at 60fps on PC.
