The Division a post apocalyptic adventure game to bring an open world game with the player inside New York city, With sublime graphics, weather conditions, sound effects and non-player A.I’s sharp intelligence. The player should be drawn into the game’s atmosphere with hours and hours of play time until the early hours of the morning and calling in sick into work to play even more, But the immersion might not be there because of Ubisofts’s Watch Dogs.
The release of Watch Dogs was drastically “downgraded” within the graphics area compared to E3’s 2012 reveal. A year on and The division took the stage and wowed us all, so there’s a question, Are we likely going to see the same error in The division that was in watch dogs?.
Here’s what Ubisoft had to say, A interview with Angry Joe, Game Director Ryan Barnard said the user shouldn’t worry about any kind of downgrade and that the gaming PCS of a high performance standard may in fact end up looking better than the reveal.
“We get that a lot,” Barnard told Angry Joe. “I think the problem with having an engine like Snowdrop where the graphical fidelity is so high, that of course you’re going to have those concerns. You know, we’re working really hard, especially this year, what we brought is the look that you’ll have on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. PC might even be able to push it.”
This statement comes before an apparent insider who has said that there already has been a graphical downgrade.
“We get that a lot,” Barnard told Angry Joe.

The changes to the division apparently already include the removal of “screen space reflections” as well as many other changes to the game that the source claims to have been made to cut the games visual quality. They would go on to affirm that the gamer will expect that Ubisoft will “never fully disclose” the true details of the changes that have been made to the game.
Let me know what you think.
