Sizes and Displays

The Droid Razr of Motorola comes with a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, resolution of 540×960 pixels and 256 ppi of pixel density. The Galaxy Note has a 5.3-inch Super AMOLED display and is quite bigger than its competitor. As for the resolution, it’s even higher than that of Droid Razr which is 800×1280 pixels, 285 ppi pixel density. Both phones feature Corning Gorilla Glass that for scratch protection. It also uses an Exynos chipset backup RAM of 1GB and GPU of Mali-400. On the other hand, the Droid Razr is only clocked at 1.2GHz and it uses a TI OMAP 4430 chipset, RAM of 1GB and a PowerVR SGX540 GPU.

As for the internal memories, the Note is offering two variants-16GB and 32GB which can be stretched to 64GB as the Motorola Droid Razr has comes with 16GB of internal and can be expanded up to 32GB.

Both are preinstalled with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread but it’s the Galaxy Note which had the upgrade to 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and its competitor settled with is previous Android version.

The two are equipped with 8MP primary cameras and 2MP secondary cameras with the same features such as LED flash, geo tagging, autofocus, touch focus, face detection and image stabilization so it’s a tie for the two devices on the cameras category. As for the batteries, the Droid Razor is designed with attached Li-Ion 1780mAh battery at the back which allows the user a total talk time of 12.5 hours. Meanwhile, the Note device from Samsung has a Li-Ion 2500mAh battery that allows its user a total of 13.5 hours on 3G connection and 26 hours on 2G.
