Is Grand Theft Auto 5 worth purchasing again?
As we all know Grand Theft Auto 5 is coming to the current generation consoles, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well as the PC and is due out sometime in the fall of this year. As hype once again builds up for this game we have not gotten any information on the price of the game. Can you upgrade your PS3 and 360 versions of the game for the newer system or do you have to pay the full price once again for the game? Either way this article is not to debate on that certain subject, instead I want to focus on the content Grand Theft Auto 5 has and if it is in fact worth a repurchase for the full price. So without rambling on about anything else let’s get straight into it, shall we?
Okay so we clearly know how much stuff the game has to offer and can easily use all of the game’s content as a reason to actually put down another $60 for the game. However, what if you already completed the story and did everything the single player had to offer and got the well earned 100 percent? Well if you’re like me you did exactly that. When the game first came out there was that solid month of no online and it really gave everyone the opportunity the explore the world of Los Santos and become familiar with it. I took that time and made it my goal to 100% the game before the multiplayer came out and I did it! I got all the spaceship parts, letter scraps, did all the jumps, etc and I couldn’t have been happier and the game was well worth the money. I literally spent over 80+ hours on the single player portion before the online was even out and I loved every single minute of it. The game is something special to me since I really disliked Grand Theft Auto 4, don’t hate, and I wanted another game like it but done better. Oh and believe me… I got it with this game. I even went back through the campaign missions to get all the single player achievements and has a blast doing that as well. This game seriously has a lot to offer on both sides and it’s definitely not a game you want to pass up this year if you have a PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or a PC that can handle it. Even if you already own the game and can’t trade it in towards the new copy… It’s worth it.
So what’s my point? My point is that no matter how long you play Grand Theft Auto 5 you will never run out of things to do and if your friends are also going to get the game than the endless amount of fun is ridiculous. This game is worth the repurchase and I’m willing to say that because I played the game nonstop until I traded my console in for the newer one and I want to do it all over again. The game is a masterpiece and it’s definitely one of the better, if not best, game that came out last year. If you haven’t played it get it and if you already bought it, well, buy it again because you will have endless things to do and the game just offers you a lot of fun and excitement. Rockstar knows what they’re doing and instead of getting the same product but a little buffed up it will be different and will basically have your jaw touching the floor once again.
